Global Forum 94.
This event takes place in Manchester from the 24th of June to the 3rd of July, this year. It will be on us before we know it! The main theme of the event is “Sustainable Cities” and we have some ideas; a sustainable industries event is one of the suggestions in, so far. If you have any good ideas for what we can do, on a sustainable theme – let us know. Contact Ian Brown on 437 7040 if you wish to know more about Global Forum 94, there is a public meeting at the Friends Meeting House, Mount Street, Manchester on Tuesday Feb. 15th from 7pm to 9pm. The theme to be considered, at this meeting, will be “People in the City – Poverty and Vulnerability”. One thing that poor people need is “Urban Greenspace” near their homes, as they can’t afford to travel far to go to the countryside. See you there.
