Published memoir “Whatever it takes.”  Journalist Marianne Wilkinson published a book about him called “The Fixer”.

In 1989 he gave an interview to a new publication, ‘GreenWeek’

On 6 January 2017 he used his newspaper column in the Australian to urge Opposition Leader Bill Shorten to look again at his ‘silly green goals’.
