What an interesting figure he is, and the way he gets endlessly repurposed.
Anyway, I have read maybe half a dozen of the short stories, and one or two of the novels but so long ago as to have not to have done so.
So, I am in 2026 going to read all 56 short stories, and 4 novels and blog them because… because… crickets. Nah- it’s because I want to write some (very specific) pastiches/parodies/homages etc.
How? I am going to read the four novels in order of their publication, once per month from Jan to April. Alongside this I will read 8 to 10 short stories (in order of publication) per month, so will be “done” by the end of June.
In the second half of the year I’ll (re)read various updates/redos etc. Not sure what yet.
