Fifteen years ago I read the Old Testament, over the course of, idk, six months. Maybe longer. Blogged it too, not that I can find the URL.
Anyway, I always intended to “do” the sequel, which is mercifully shorter and has less begat-ing. So, in January and February 2026, that’s what I am doing. The thing with the NT is that it is quite front loaded, long-books-wise, so I figure if I can knock over the Gospels and Acts in January, without losing the will to live, then February is a mopping up operation where I read all the various “letters”. And also the book of Revelation, which I have already read, back in the stone age (late 1980s?).
There will be snark, obvs.
