Is this perfect? Don’t be silly: but it will have to do for now, because 1) Opportunity cost 2) Law of diminishing returns 3) gotta keep the neuroticism on some kind of leash.
This is a snapshot of what I know (in terms of facts) and/or think (based on current ways of seeing the world.) It’s not the final word, because there probably won’t be one, and life is short. There are opportunity costs (I could be doing something else more useful/fun with my time/energy than polishing and poking this post.)
Will I look back on this as a failure? Maybe, but then again, “We can all fall into the trap of believing we are defined by our failures, but if we do, we need to tweak that and instead define ourselves by our courage to try. Without having the courage to fail, we won’t have the courage to succeed.” https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/article/2024/jun/16/my-grownup-son-is-gaming-all-day-and-lives-on-takeaways
As to holes in my “logic,” such as it is. If you take the time to point these out, well thank you, I will try to respond with rationality. However I may need a few days because red mists frequently descend (see the James Herbert novel The Fog, or the movie The Mist).
