When everyone is trying to make periodisations (Anthropocene, Trumpocene, Capitlocene, Chthulocene, Whatsmycene)
It is surely the Ceneocene?

Sadly, it does seem someone has beaten me to the punch.
But wait! There’s more!
The Cenes I’ve detailed are but a few of the many Cenes that have percolated to the surface of the junction between science, popular culture and global politics.
In 2017, Steve Mentz, Professor of English at St. John’s University in New York City, wring on Stanford Humanities Center website Arcade, detailed several more Cenes (an including those detailed here.

Mentz coined the term Neologismcene.
He argues that the epoch we are actually living is defined by the desire to craft new, and sometimes ever wackier, names for the environment-destroying times we as humans have inflicted on ourselves while crafting ever more novel ways to either combat or deny human-made climate change.
