Most climate academia seems to be ahistoric stamp-collecting

I am speaking of the social “sciences” stuff here. People captured and captivated by the hopium on display, and unwilling (or incapable) of thinking where it might all go. Because to point to the obvious likely dangers ahead would be – I don’t know, “normative”? Or would harsh everyone’s mellow or something. Or is just beyond the actual cognitive capacity of the investigator?

I have scheduled this post, so it’s not grindingly blindingly obvious what inspired me to rant.
