On the “slow” motion privatisation of the NHS and feelings of dread

Twice now, once last year and just now, I’ve had the experience I am sure millions of others are having. You need something done and rather than it being dealt with “in-house” the NHS is farming it out to private companies. All in the name of “efficiency” don’t you know. Never mind the senior politicians and policymakers are doubtless getting various forms of legal backhanders.

And these private providers greedily hoover up your data – and you cannot resist, as I just found out, because if you do NOT consent to give them the info, then that’s it, no treatment.

And they assure you that they don’t share data. Until they’re bought out by a bigger fish, of course, and then it’s all okay. And they’re circling, circling, like vultures watching a dying man crawl towards an oasis that is beyond reach.

How to fight this? I don’t know.

Do I trust Labour’s Wes Streeting to have brain or spine enough to see what is being done, or care about it?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha (continues for 94 pages).

Anyone got any bright ideas, other than not getting old or sick, as per the 1983 Kinnock Protocol?

  1. These sort of actions are all related to GROWTH, if you have a mobile you can be tracked, your medical history can be followed, social security numbers and bank details are open to government. The next step will be a Cashless Society and when that occurs, we won’t need names, just a number.
What better way is there to control the masses?
