13 books I bought in London

I went to London and all I got (besides luscious finds from the British Library and another example of terrible event design/implementation) was thirteen books (for a grand total of £17.50) from four bookshops.

I have decided not to borrow or buy any books until all thirteen of these have been both read and reviewed. I am not allowed to begin reading the next book until the review of the last one is done.

With a little luck by then (sometime in November?) I will have gained a modicum of self-control (and at such a young age! So Precocious) and won’t go on some mad compensatory binge. There are of course Underlying Reasons for my book buying (it’s not hoarding if it’s books), but that is for another time…

Here is the order I am going to read them in. If there’s a hyperlinked title, that means I have posted the review.
